Six ways to do Cabo
Cabo San Lucas
The marina, the nightlife, El Arco and Land's End, and Médano Beach. The busiest and most developed base.
San José Del Cabo
The historic colonial town, the Art District, the Gallery District Thursday Art Walk, and a calmer, more boutique pace. Closest to the airport.
The Tourist Corridor
The roughly 20-mile coastal stretch of Highway 1 between the two towns. Big resorts, championship golf, and the swimmable coves of Chileno and Santa Maria.
Todos Santos
A Pueblo Mágico about an hour north on the Pacific side. Art galleries, surf at Cerritos, and a slower bohemian feel.
East Cape and Cabo Pulmo
Wild, off-grid coastline northeast of San José. Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park protects the oldest coral reef in the Sea of Cortez, one of the best dive and snorkel sites in North America.
La Paz (Day Trip)
The Baja Sur capital, about two to two and a half hours north. Balandra Beach, swimming with whale sharks and sea lions, and a relaxed malecón.
